Abstract

The main objective is to provide some elements for the analysis of the teaching practice in medical curriculum. Development three approaches to education are reviewed: the traditional, the technocratic and the critic. Five elements are identified out of each one and compared with the medical education; the traditional approach is dominant despite the university efforts to move towards the critic approach. This is due to several factors involved in the medical clinic practice.
