Abstract

This paper proposes the need to incorporate the debate on health conditions/sickness/health care in the construction of a pacific transition to democracy. It understands the organized social responses to deal with sickness and death as a particular arena of political struggle, the redefinition of the relations state-society, and the processes of democratization of public action. The article ends stating a set of needed strategies to keep open the track towards a, pacific transition to democracy in México
