Reflection on Informed Consent in the theoretical categories instrumental autonomy and indigenous vulnerability its key player. Autonomy has been carried right level and is based on membership of the body, which can only be exercised if performed in a position that the information is sufficient and appropriate to decide, and for seeing that the law is made without coercion. the vulnerability, understood as conditioning, not only represents the abstract phenomena, also shows ways to address the problems of vulnerable populations. The indigenous categories, which like all theoretical categories are not unambiguous, and it is implemented is understood as constructions of different worldviews that are related in many ways to those built in Western societies, besides understanding the Indigenous category arises and is maintained in colonial relations which have undergone these groups from the conquest to date. From these theoretical frameworks reflects on the construction and implementation of Informed Consent targeting Indigenous Communities, which can only be implemented if it is based on existing legislation, hence reflection is structured based on the General Health Law, which regulates conditions under which it has to conduct human subjects research in Mexico.
