Abstract

This work discusses the results of a research carried out in San Pedro Abajo, Temoaya country, in the State of Mexico. Forty four workers of a carpet factory installed there were interviewed, as well as forty seven housewives of the same town. The main analytical lines are: Self-percieved health and a never ending work day. The way of living of women in this population is described, relating it to the sicknesses they feel in their bodies
