La Medicina Social Latinoamericana y sus miradas múltiples sobre la investigación cualitativa

Abstract

Social medicine and qualitative research are considered as front line fields in health and health care in Latin America. Nevertheless, few papers have explored the ways each other have intertwined and, particularly, the approach each other have on the other. Thus, the aim of this paper is to determine the sort of relationship and links that the social medicine and qualitative research have in relation to the other. Four kind of approaches were found: one of exclusion, another of subordination, a dialogic one and, the last one, of methodological neutrality.
