Abstract

In this work a model of classification of the population movements in relation to the health is proposed. Too is discussed its potential capacity to give account of the main established relations between both processes. The first section exposes some historical facts that illustrate how the migration has a permanent impact in the population’s health, throughout a complex relationship. In the second part diverse contemporary experiences that are indicated how the direct hit of the migration on certain conditions of health is. Finally, the elaborated model of classification is explicated with detail. As an additional element, the authors sets out to leave the migration concept and to replace it by the population movement, due to its greater explanatory capacity and to that, in fact, this farmer concept explains and includes empirically to first
