Aproximaciones teóricas al concepto de capital social y su vínculo con la salud

Abstract

The social capital is a concept adopted recently in the social science and it has been postulate as a response to a wide range of problems, from the creation of the human capital, to the eradication of the poverty, passing for the inequality in the access to services of health and more particular processes as that of the health - disease. Nevertheless, the debate about this concept, indicates that agreement does not exist in what is social capital and neither, how it links with specific processes as that of the health. In this way, the intention of the present work is to approach the origins of the concept, as well as, its main applications to the explanation of social problems of health
