Abstract

The institutional framework that societies build influences the forms of cooperation between their organizations for the effective use of the use of their resources; since the end of the 20th century, countries have been conditioned by free market policies. In the case of the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) under western influence, the best degrees of efficiency in the level of health are based on public spending on health under inclusive institutions, which influences the increase in life expectancy of its population, in comparison with other forms of institutional organization, in the case of Mexico and Chile its dependence trajectory has been more prone towards the extraction of its population with lower levels of well-being. In the conclusions, the institutional approach allows us to affirm how the perverse incentives of neoliberal policies do not allow the improvement of health levels for the population.
