The first objective for this work is to argue that gender perspective can enlighten a better understanding of realization and damage in labor contexts. It is argued that gender conditions labor realization and damage. Gender construction defines prejudices about men and women’s roles regarding particular labor conditions, time and space. Changes in the world of labor had maintained masculinity prejudices related with danger acceptance and extra-working demands. The case of building industry is presented as example of previous argumentations. The second objective is to show how was used a research method capable of recovering and considering informants and researcher subjectivity
