Abstract

This paper is the result of a research conducted between january, 1995 and august 1996 with male and female workers that had lesions caused by repetitive effort. The impact of the illness on their everyday lives was explored. The main goals were to contribute to highlighting the disease, make deals with the workplaces to modify their working conditions and to understand the consequences of the illness in society/enterprises and household/domestic labor relationships
