Control upon workers' lives and activities in Brazil has been carried out through many epistemological perspectives. During the twenties and thirties, clinical-psychiatric knowledge and production organization through a Taylorist mode set the basis for both workers' exclusion and collaboration among classes. A journal (Revista de Organización Científica do Idort) is a source of information about Brazilian scientific labor organization. This paper examines the issues that were printed between 1932 and 1934, trying to grasp the behavior of Paulist entrepreneurs during these years.
